I am making fantastic progress with this program. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks. I feel that the last two workouts I have improved my not only my aerobic capacity to keep up, but also my skill level in order to properly do the exercises. I feel really good.
Day 12 – Back to Core
This workout has not become about focus and have correct form. With certain movements, I am still weak (i.e reverse plank), but I can tell that I am getting stronger. I was not as winded as previously, but I was definitely more fatigue. Like all the workouts, this is a great one. Mainly because I appreciate the focus on building strength in the core
Day 13 – Strength
Because I am now familiar with the movements within each exercise, I really pushed myself today. After the 46 minute workout, I felt like I wanted to pass out. My back and midsection was severely fatigue. I wanted to scream in pain. In fact, I was so tired, I walked into the room where my family was relaxing and tried to set on the bed next to them. But, I had to roll onto the floor, struggling to recover. My little girl was excited and thought I was going to give her a pony ride. That obviously did not happen.
Again, my coordination is improving, but this workout is still difficult because of the progressive intensity of the exercises. I achieve major lactic acid build up and burning of the lungs. I am not complaining as this is what Asylum is all about. It is a great thing that tomorrow is Relief.
